National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur invites prescribed format of applications from eligible Indian Nationals, who have holding Ph.D (or) PG First Class - Apply for following Faculty Positions (Lecturer) in various Departments, Centres. The posts purely on Contract Basis for One Year and the contract can be renewed annually based upon their satisfactory performance upto maximum of three years.

(i) Civil Engineering, (ii)Electrical Engineering (iii) Mechanical Engineering (iv) Electronics & Comm. Engg. (v) Computer Science & Engg. (vi) Chemical Engineering	Ph.D with first class both a UG and PG level. (OR) First Class Degree both at UG and PG level in relevant branch of engineering.
(vii) Architecture	Ph.D with first class both at UG and PG level. (OR) First Class Degree both at UG and PG level in relevant field. However, candidates with 1st class at B.Arch. level may also be considered.
(viii) Mathematics	Ph.D with first class at MA/M.Sc./M.Phil level.
(ix) Humanities a) (only with specialization in Communication Skill(English)	Ph.D with first class at MA/M.Phil level. (OR) First Class Degree both at UG and MA/M.Phil level in relevant subject.
b) With specialization in Management	Ph.D with first class at MBA/PGDM level with Engineering background. (OR) First Class Degree both at UG and MBA/PGDM with Engineering backgrounds only
(x)Centre for Material Sc. & Engg.	Ph.D with first class at both UG and M.Sc./M.Phil/M.Tech. level.

QUALIFICATION WISE SALARY :

QUALIFICATION	CONSOLIDATED SALARY (PM)
For Ph.D candidates	Rs. 47200/-
For M.Tech./ME/M.Arch./M.Phil/ MBA/PGDM Degree holders.	Rs. 43500/-
For B.Arch. candidates.	Rs. 40000/-
